eBay Active Content Removal

eBay have announced in Seller Release 16.1 that they are planning to remove active content from listings. Active content includes Flash, plugins and Javascript, it does not stop branded design or the content you currently have within your listings.

This is a move to further enhance eBay's security and to improve buyer experience on all available devices. We see this as a positive move for sellers as it helps ensure compatibility as well as protecting yourself and buyers alike.

Frooition are directly partnered with eBay to ensure buyers have maximum confidence in the eBay platform whilst retaining the same great look and functionality within listings. Frooition has innovated many changes to the presentation of eBay listings over the last eleven years, allowing our 300,000+ sellers to grow and sell more.

As an eBay certified provider, Frooition can provide our customers with the latest updates to listing content before anyone else, and can provide these updates without disrupting your sales. As we have always done, when the eBay platform offers new features our customers will have access first.

Frooition and eBay will still have the same awesome content for sellers to enhance their buyer experience across every device available. This upcoming change will ensure this continues, while ensuring the safety of your online presence and that of your customers.
