Frooition Software Updates 2011 |
FROOITION SOFTWARE UPDATES
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
On Wednesday 9th November 2011, between 8.30am and 9.30am GMT we are rolling out some great new features, as well as essential updates to our software.
During the scheduled maintenance period customers will not be able to login to the Frooition software, however your live listings and stores will not be affected as there will be no Frooition server downtime.
Only login to the Frooition eBay software (http://software.frooition.com) will be affected.

At Frooition we understand how important your time is, we have streamlined our software to make it simpler to get straight to the feature you require. We have also improved many of our already outstanding bulk actions, such as the ability to import unsold items into Frooition to make implementation even easier
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET THESE FEATURES?
Nothing! As an existing Frooition customer you get automatic access to these great features as part of the service.

NEW FEATURES IN DETAIL:
NEW EBAY STORE INTERFACE
We have improved the layout of the eBay store management interface to make it simpler to update your categories and to add promotion boxes to your storefront. The new layout makes it easier for new and old customers to navigate the Frooition software.
EBAY LISTING PRESETS
When listing a large quantity of listings to eBay you will undoubtedly be repeating a lot of information. We have updated our software to make your eBay business more efficient.
Listing presets allow you to "save" blocks of information - such as your postage costs, listing format, returns information - which you can then bulk apply to lot of listings. When you list your items you can choose to have the repetitive information prefilled; so you just have to enter the unique information for each listing and click launch!
The presets you can create are:
- Auction type
- Price information
- Duration
- VAT rate (for vat registered customers only)
- Location Exclusions
- Payment methods accepted
- Postage and packaging information
- Returns policy
- Additional Checkout instructions
- Product information - such as Brand, ISBN, EAN etc.
ADD EXTERNAL VIDEOS TO YOUR FROOITION LISTINGS
We have added an exciting new feature to improve our customer’s eBay listings! The ability to easily add external videos (such as YouTube) directly into your Frooition designed listings!
Simply grab the embed code on YouTube and drop it into the video box within the Frooition software.
UK MOTORS PARTS COMPATIBILITY
In line with the recent eBay update Frooition have added the functionality to add Vehicle parts compatibility to vehicle parts on eBay.co.uk.
This means sellers listing a specific vehicle part can build up a list of vehicles the part fits. The eBay customer can then search for parts that fit vehicle X, the sellers part will be displayed in those results - cutting down the amount of listings a seller needs to list.
A single listing will satisfy hundreds of different vehicles without keyword stuffing.
This update is automatically available for all customers listing in supported categories.

IMPROVED IMAGE UPLOAD AND HOSTING FEATURES
Frooition have improved there already successful image upload and hosting functionality. Users can now drag and drop images in bulk from their desktop computers! Making eBay listing even simpler.
Available to all customers with an active image hosting subscription, this new functionality allows you easily folder images and keeps your product photos neatly organized. Choose between gallery and list view or use the powerful built in search and easily find the correct image every time.
IMPROVED BULK IMPORT INTERFACE
Frooition have improved the bulk import interface, making easier to import products from a spreadsheet file.
The new interface simplifies the function of uploading your stock sheet and gives you instant, direct access to help files, videos, printable PDF help as well as templates and examples - all on a single screen.
IMPROVED BULK APPLICATION OF TEMPLATES TO LIVE LISTINGS
Frooition customers are able to bulk apply their Frooition eBay design to live listings, this is a great feature that helps customers to instantly implement their new design. Unbelievably Frooition have made this service even better!!
The Bulk apply functionality now has the ability to pull in more than 1 eBay image into the design image gallery. If you have multiple images hosted with eBay they will all be pulled into the design and beautifully framed with zooming functionality*.
*Zooming ability depends on the image size
ABILITY TO IMPORT BIGCOMMERCE PRODUCT INFORMATION INTO FROOITION
As a proud partner of BigCommerce (http://frooition.bigcommerce.com/), Frooition are delighted to announce the amazing functionality that enables customers to pull BigCommerce product information directly into Frooition enabling it to be listed to eBay with fantastic design.
The functionality is very simple to use but also incredibly powerful. It will enable sellers to rapidly list products on both BigCommerce and eBay.
The other great news is that Frooition offer professional, world leading designs for both eBay AND BigCommerce, meaning you can easily build your brand on both platforms.

BULK IMPORT YOUR UNSOLD EBAY ITEMS INTO FROOITION FOR RELISTING
